This page was developed with the support of Boston Architectural Center Education Committee Travel and Research Grant (EDCO Grant) during 2000-01.

All photographs were taken in Bosnia and Herzegovina during summer 2000. I made every effort to present accurate information. Since written resources were limited, some information may not be accurate and I will appreciate your input. This site was designed in the US and technical reasons prohibited the use of Bosnian (Serbian, Croatian) alphabet.

Special thanks to:

Curt Lamb, Vice President for Education, BAC
Warren Wake, Prog. Dir. Acad. Comp.& Media, BAC
Diego Matho, Director of CAD Curriculum, BAC
Catherine Truman, Architect, Ann Beha & Associates

Also, in Bosnia and Herzegovina special thanks to:
My husband Igor for his unselfish support and his ability to find the best places to eat
Our parents, family and friends for their hospitality
My brother Zdenko for his patience and superb driving skills
Zivorad Vekic, Professor, University of Sarajevo, School of Architecture
Dragan Mihajlovic, Banja Luka

And all other people who helped me during my stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The architecture of Bosnia and Herzegovina is as diverse as its people. My hope is that this site will continue to grow.

Thank you for visiting. Please come again.
